Message from Owner

Have you seen Lenny? Lenny is a fully-grey, older cat (16+ years old) who lives in Sunnyside, between 42nd-43rd on Main Street. It’s been 3 days (last seen 4/22) since he’s been seen and we are worried because this is unlike him. If you have seen him around or have any helpful information we’d greatly appreciate it. Grey, short-haired. Thin and older. Greenish/yellow eyes. Notches in both ears but big notch in right ear. — in Sunnyside.

This site has good advice. Put out dirty clothes from the owner on your porch as cats can smell long distances and leave a door open. Walk around shaking treats and talking in a normal voice, but do NOT call his/her name. Play cat meows from YouTube & walk around day & night. This has helped find 2 cats! Hope he/she comes home soon. 🙏 Post neon flyers all around the area! Put out a cat trap if you know the area he/she may be and use an outdoor camera to make sure you are alerted immediately if he/she is caught. Walk around at night with a flash light too. Hope you find your kitty! 🙏❤️ The site is 3retrievers dot com

Please folks with cats - keep them safe- coyotes are breeding now and are extra hungry - please don't let your sweet fur babies end up as a coyote snack. They are unfortynatly easy prey .

Look under shrubs, in window wells, garages and sheds. Go out at night.

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Keep the door or window the kitty left from open 24/7 so they can return, usually very late at night. If unable to do that then crack your garage door open enough for her to get in, 24/7. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture letting them know she got out and ask them to keep an eye out, check Ring cameras for any sighting, post as many flyers as possible with kitty’s picture in your and surrounding neighborhoods. Walk late at night when it’s quiet with a flashlight, looking under every shrub for their shining eyes, softly call the kitty’s name and shake their food. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check with shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

Please place his betting outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Best of luck finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️
