Get a picture out to all delivery drivers in your area. UPS, FEDEX, AMAZON, BUS DRIVERS and MAIL CARRIERS. Ask them to put up in their break rooms. They have eyes 👀 all over the place. Might be able to give a sighting location. Leave a picture and all local shelters, vet clinics, and police departments. Good luck getting your baby home 🏠

Look at night with a flashlight while calling his name. Look especially under bushes and in neighbors yards garages and sheds. Look up in trees, Leave something outside with his scent on it like his bedding. Leave something outside with your scent on it like an unwashed piece of clothing. Leave out smelly cat food. Hang signs with his photo. Call and visit local shelters and veterinary offices. Good luck!🍀

Inside cats usually hide close by. Check crawlspaces and sheds and neighbor's crawlspaces and sheds with their permission. Go out at dark with a flashlight to see glowing eyes in bushes and up trees. Also post on ring and Nextdoor apps. Please also watch out for scammers. Praying you find your baby.

Never give up hope. Cats have been known to find their way home months later. Do this ASAP. Put out items with your scent on it, like an item of dirty clothing, towel, blankets. Put vacuum dust near point of escape since It contains home scents in it. Leave out a bowl of water. (if indoor only cat, will be hiding in silence and fear, either in your yard or neighbors). DO NOT put litter box out it will attract feral cats and predators. Call as may times as possible, but night time is best because its quiet. Ask neighbors if you can check garages, sheds and under decks and their security camera recordings in the mid morning hours, since cats are more likely to come out when it's quiet during the night. Put up 11x17 poster in neighborhood. Use a flashlight at night because you will see a reflection of their eyes, look up trees and post on your local town community page and next-door neighborhood app.

The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. They have to use their sense of smell to get home again. Put anything outside that smells like their territory. Put the pajamas you slept in outside because you probably sweated in them. Put out their food your stinky socks your smelly sneakers anything you can think of that the cat will recognize by smell. Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week or so sleeping in the bushes during the day and coming out at dusk and dawn. Those are good times to take a walk shaking the treat bag calling out but cats also tend to come out and walk around very late at night. Try to keep a door cracked if you can whether it's the garage or whatever or a window cracked so you can hear them if they call out for you. Put this on all of the neighborhood pages as well as lost and found pets sites. Knock on the neighbors doors and make sure they know you're looking for your cat. Good luck PS cats can smell up to one mile away from their own house.

If you haven't already, please post on Lost and Found Pets of Pinellas County, Nextdoor, Pawboost and the Ring app so that we can share further. Go out at night and shine a flashlight while calling his name. Shake some treats. The light will reflect off of the eyes. Notify Pinellas County Animal Services in case they pick him up or someone turns him in to them. Put up fliers around the area where he went missing. Let your neighbors know to be on the lookout because they don't usually go very far from home 🙏🏻 Beware of scammers!!

The way I got my cat back after 6 months is I put up fliers and go door to door. Talk to everyone in your neighborhood. I went out almost nightly. Find out who is feeding cats and go talk to them, as he may have showed up there. Post on neighborhood ring camera. Check the shelters daily, don’t call but check the websites. Most cats will be within a couple of blocks or houses and I made the mistake of thinking he would come back on his own, but I had to find where he was and bring him home. Don’t ever give up cats are resilient and smart. Good luck!!
