Update: We had two sightings of Pete this week. One around the marsh on Shellworth Crossing (Tuesday 8/10) in Midpoint at 3 pm and the second close to the tennis courts on Franklin Creek South (Wed 8/11) at 4:30 pm. There was an organized search on Wednesday and those involved continue to search their respective areas. It appears Pete is staying central on Skidaway Island and retracing some areas he has been spotted before. Additionally focus on wooded lots/areas and marshes. We suspect he is getting food around the marsh edges at low tide. Please continue to keep looking for him. We appreciate everyone’s assistance! We strongly believe we are getting closer to bringing Pete home. Thank you!

Like "Tybee Island Police Department" here on Facebook. They took a very similar looking dog out from the Savannah Humane Society today to run around in the cruiser.
