Savannah, GA Lost Male Dog, Pete Is Missing

Update 9/10/2021: We continue to look for Pete as we have hope we will find him! It has been 8 weeks since Pete decided to take an extended adventure. We are working two fronts: (1) Skidaway Island and the immediate surrounding area and (2) surrounding counties and the State of Georgia. On Skidaway Island we continue to look in areas where Pete was previously spotted as well as the State Park, the Marine Science Center, and the wooded areas on the northern end of the island. Wormsloe State Park is also keeping an eye out for Pete. Additional signs have been placed around Savannah and we remaining in contact with rescue agencies, animal shelters, and now veterinary offices in Chatham County and the surrounding counties. We also have state-wide ads for Pete on social media. The search continues, and we appreciate everyone’s help in keeping an eye out for Pete! Again, thank you for your support and words of encouragement!

Andi McKeever please join & follow Facebook group "The Vizsla Army" I & Candy Vizsla have shared your post on that group. Also join & follow Facebook group " Lost & Found Pets of Coweta County Georgia" then "Files" section to read everything expert Lovy Myers wrote on how to find your lost dog. Large neon signs along with handout flyers are #1 way pets are reunited. You can also message Lovy Myers for tracking dog recommendation. Praying for Pete's return home soon & safe. Is Pete microchipped? If yes, is chip registered & current with your contact info? Some chip companies send out Lost Dog notices to Vets & groups.
