If they neutered him they probably chipped them and you need to have your name put on his record so you can be contacted if anyone finds him. Very much worth the effort to follow this through.

Jo Ei Leen I tried his local vet, but they’re closed until Monday. I’m gonna reach out to the adoption agency that we got him from.
