Check crawlspace sheds garages anywhere he could be locked in accidentally. Ask your neighbors to do the same. Put his bed/blanket and some of your dirty clothing/laundry outside. The SCENT will help him find the way home. Please DON'T put out litter box. It could attract predators that would scare him away. Leave access for him to get back inside when it is quiet and he feels safe to do so. At night time go outside and call/talk to her very SOFTLY. Then wait a little and listen if he answers and comes out of his hiding place. Hopefully very soon.
