Look at night with a flashlight while calling his name. Look especially under bushes and in neighbors yards garages and sheds. Look up in trees, Leave something outside with his scent on it like his bedding. Leave something outside with your scent on it like an unwashed piece of clothing. Leave out smelly cat food. Hang signs with his photo. Call and visit local shelters and veterinary offices. Good luck!🍀

Rent a trap locally … This woman has great tips on her site . I used the one below as well as a friend of mine. I have her downloaded book which is a quick read with tons of good info . I will gladly email it to you , pm your email address ( too big of a file for messenger) . She even answered our questions about strays in our area that may hv kept my friend’s cat in hiding . Also if you can rent a trap from St cats in Nay Aug park , Griffin Pond Animal Shelter or No Nonsense Neutering in Plains that will be helpful. Leave the door he escaped from or window cracked open in evening when it gets dark . Buy a cheap driveway sensor from Harbor Freight ($14) place by door and wait . Don’t leave food at all times ( only supervised) or litter outside it will attract other cats or wildlife & drive him further away https://www.lostcatfinder.com/

They usually don’t venture far. It’s probably scared & hiding near by in bushes or an open garage. Most kitties will stay put in their safe hiding spot. ( if they’re not fixed they can wonder further, depends on circumstances) Ask neighbors to check their sheds, decks, garages. They usually venture out at night after 24-48hrs when they start getting hungry. The “witching” hour when they come out is 3am. If you see your pet, don’t try to grab it, it’s still on survival mode and will run. Just sit down maybe with some treats and let your pet come to you. (Remember, never put the litterbox outside. Other cats will mark it & scare your cat away. Just in case, also set some humane traps near by, hide them in the bushes where your pet might hide. Good luck & don’t lose hope. Pray to St Anthony, he hasn’t let me down. 🙏🏻🐾
