I almost hit this sweet dog with my car in an industrial area near the Whitlock Ave 6 train station. She's incredibly friendly and appears to be well cared for, so I believe she has a family that's probably looking for her. I also noticed she has pink spray paint on one of her legs and some on her tail. I gave her a bath, but it appears to be stained and wouldn't come off completely. If this is your dog, please message me and be prepared to provide proof of ownership (photos, veterinary records, or other identifying information) so I can make sure she's reunited with the right family. Thanks for bringing inside to safety, food and water. Can you take it to a vet to scan for chip? The vet may also recognize the dog and be able to contact its owners. Check with other local vets as well and contact the police. Also post fliers. Also keep checking Nextdoor and Pawboost for dogs lost in and near your zip code.And beware of bad actors!!!
