Stray Cat Sighting in Randolph, NJ 07869

It was dark, but it seemed to be a gray and white striped medium size I wiggled my keys and it came out so it seemed to be friendly. Luckily, I had water and a brand new set of dishes in my car so I put that out and it immediately ran to it

No collar I apologize for not being able to give more of the description. It was very late around 2 AM. I had to stop my car in the middle of the road.( I pulled off to the side) My main focus was to get the fox away from the cat, but luckily, I have a cat myself and I was close to home once I gave it water. I ran home and Got cat food. Quickly came running up to me and ate. I did not get too close because obviously I do not know the nature of the cat, but it definitely seemed friendly yet guarded a bit. I called my 24 hour maintenance waiting on the call back Posted on Nextdoor app also Please let me know if there’s anything else I should be doing. I tried for over an hour to keep my eye on it but once it stopped eating, it slowly started walking away. There’s many cars and I’m not sure if it’s under a car again or roaming I keep going out and looking I feel terrible and hope that it belongs to someone but then again that makes me more concerned that it is roaming around in the middle of the night
