Do not respond to the post regarding Instagram it's a scam. And do not put out the litter box. That's an old wives' tale, and can work against attracting the missing cat because it attracts others. But as was noted above, she's probably nearby in the bushes, especially because she's a house cat. I've actually experienced the same when a cat has snuck out unnoticed, and ended up being under the neighbors' bush. Good luck!

Follow tips it takes work. Go out at dusk with flashlight and tuna call its name. Look for eyeshine. If possible, leave a Lanini or garage door open with a food and her/his bed setup. Don't give up i walked every nite for three months but finally caught my cat in a trap right in front of my house I never saw her hiding.

The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. Immediately put out the dirty litter box along with anything that stinks of the cat and of you. Cats know our scent.too. put out your stinky socks your smelly sneakers something you sweated in overnight even your dirty underwear seriously and also put out the cat's food along with the dirty litter box. Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week sleeping in the bushes and coming out at dusk Dawn and late at night so those are good times to call out and shake the treat bag. They can smell up to one mile away from their own home. Good luck

Put out their used kitty box with some clothes you have worn near an open garage or patio. This brought my cat home in a couple hours after being gone for 24
