Sometimes they stay near where they live. I remember my older cat, when she was like 4 (almost 13 now) ran outside when I had the door cracked as I was signing a receipt from pizza delivery. She chased the neighbor's cat. We were outside for hours looking for her, and it was fall season so it was cold. I was scared she was hurt or got hit by a vehicle or something...finally we all went to bed. In the meantime, the other neighbor's cat was following me and he looked like he was trying to say "I KNOW WHERE STELLA IS!!!" but I just petted him and just said hopefully she'll find her way back....next morning around 2am, I for up to use the bathroom and looked out my window and I saw a tuxedo cat walking around looking confused. I opened the window and used a certain sound that she knew...she started meowing at me and ran towards the house!!! She immediately ran straight in the house to the litter box 🤣🤣, then her bowls, then to my bed. I had to wipe her down because she was so dirty. I went to work around 5am that morning and just let her sleep on a towel on the bed. Texted my roommates that she was home. Got home that afternoon and she was still sleeping lol. She actually let me give her a bath when I got home. My point is, look outside around the night time, that's when they wonder around mostly. Maybe put something with your scent by your doors outside. I hope you find your baby soon. She seems to be Stella's age, so maybe confused, tired, exhausted because she's a senior...
