Cindy Enroth Borgstahl I saw this bird last night. It seemed to be happily eating grass seed heads and easily flew away, so hopefully not starving. Just to put your mind at ease! We ran home to get a laundry basket and birdseed to try to capture it but it flew away and we lost sight. :(

Was the bird rescued? When they're on the ground it usually means they're close to starving and that's really scary. ☹️

Today I believe I saw this bird on a page in shakopee and the owner reported him missing. There were several cats and 2 birds.

If someone can catch (or is willing to closely monitor a cage) I am a foundling foster with Midwest Avian Adoption & Rescue Services, Inc. (MAARS) and will take this bird in. We can also provide a temporary cage, food, medical care, etc while seeking their family.

Rebecca Hoffman They are very tricky to capture unless they are desperate, keep an eye out, you can play budgie noises from your phone and see if it comes, you can also provide their favorite treat millet for a chance! Good luck!
