MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Minina escaped when she was accompanying her cat mom to the shopping center. She got spooked and wiggled out of her harness and so her tags aren't on her... they were on the harness. She is a petite cat, can be timid, begs for food often, and is greatly missed. Please help reunite Minina with her family.

Hi! Please go walking through the neighborhood your baby’s name and shaking his/her bag of food or bag of treats. Use a flashlight at night. Look under cars, by bushes and any other place where he/she can be hiding. If possible leave your garage and lanai door partially open. Your cat will try to get back inside, especially during time when it is dark outside. The only way to find the way home again is by smell. Use some of your used clothes, put them outside along with his/her bed. Go in person to the local shelter to check if your cat is there. Call your cat’s microchip company to report him/her missing. Post on Facebook Lost and Found Pets groups of your area. Post him/her on Neighbors by Ring App. You don’t have to have a Ring Doorbell to get the app. There are Apple and Android versions of the app 🙏🏼 Post him/her on NextDoor App and on PawBoost too 🙏🏼 Prayers for your baby’s safe return 🥺

I shared your post in Coral Springs-Parkland-Coconut Creek-Margate-Community Forum. Post on Nextdoor.com, ring.com and in Margate Neighbors, Margate Florida Residents, Margate Florida Residents, Margate, FL Residents & Friends, Margate, FL Lost & Found Pets - Dogs / Cats, Lost Pets of Broward, Dade and Palm Beach Counties and Lost and Found PETS of SE Florida - Broward, Dade & Palm Beach County's. Contact Broward County Animal Care and Adoption and Margate Animal Control and report her lost and post fliers in your neighborhood on all major intersections, supermarkets, pet stores and veterinary offices. Let all your neighbors know she's missing and ask them to check their garages and sheds. Cats often hide during the day. At dusk and dawn walk around the neighborhood, shake a container with treats and call her name. Take a flashlight and look in bushes and hiding places. If possible, leave a door, window or the garage door cracked in case she comes back during the night. Do NOT put her litter box outside. This is a myth. Cats bury their waste for a reason. It will attract predators that may your cat and/or attract rival cats that will drive your cat away. Use the contents of your vacuum canister instead. This scent is unique to your home and easily replenished. Mix it with some catnip and fling it in the air as high and as hard as you can so it carries. Place her bed and a piece of your worn clothing out for scent. Let UFAR Animal Rescue in Margate know that she's missing in case someone finds her and takes her there. I hope you find her soon! https://www.broward.org/Animal/Pages/LostAndFound.aspx

Gorgeous cat. Hope someone finds her soon. Put her litter box out with anything has your scent. Trust me cats have high scents. She’s trying to find you. Check under cars especially around bushes. Check predawn and during night. Cats roam dark
