Judy Vinnacombe Slavin if I see anything else when I’m looking at the lost and found sites for dogs, then I will reach back out to you. I’m hoping for the best possible outcome for you and your dog.

Janet Chandler I was typing but got interrupted and it looks like it disappeared. The dog that is at animal friends of the valleys sounds like a different dog. A lot of similarities but he is only 7 1/2 pounds and Max was at least 15. Also, he’s microchipped in New York and is missing his left eye. They do look very similar though. Max’s eye was not missing, but he had a problem with it and it didn’t look like a normal eye.

Judy Vinnacombe Slavin . I didn’t hear back from the person, but I’m guessing from what she said on the post that the Chihuahua was reunited with the owner that it wouldn’t be your dog. But she had another picture of the dog on her post and I’ll post it here and if you compare it to your dog, it has more white on the head. What do you think?

Judy Vinnacombe Slavin I found where the person also posted on next-door and said that she brought it to Animal Friends Of The Valley but within the same post she also posted that it was reunited with the owner so I’m double checking that info with her.

Judy Vinnacombe Slavin if everything on the picture that you saw is exactly what I sent you then that is the part of the animal shelters webpage, where people that find the dogs actually post that they found them. If you click on the tab when you go into the shelter website that I circled in blue above then that will take you to the dogs that are actually at the shelter. When you do get to that page then there are tabs for foster dogs/adoptable dogs /lost and found dogs that are all actually at the shelter. It can be a little confusing, but once you learn how to navigate the page then it becomes easy.
