Description

Niblet - the kitty who’s blind in one eye is still missing. He’s been gone over 6 months now, but we have to try. If he’s still alive, he may have been taken in by someone. Or he may have traveled quite far by now (from our home on the border of Bushwick & BedStuy), searching for food and water. Soon he will also be searching for warmth. WE can only pray his eye condition hasn’t gotten worse or spread to his other eye. Please, PLEASE, keep him & us in your mind when you see stray kitties. PLEASE, if you know any feeders in your area, or maybe a friend or family member who you know feeds, takes in, or cares for kitties - but is elderly, doesn’t use social media/has a language barrier, etc, please pass this along to them. And lastly, I hate to say this so so much - but if you’ve disposed of the remains of a kitty who looks like him in this past 6 months or so, please let us know. We might be able to figure out if it was him. It would help our mental health to know what happened. It’s impossible to say “Thank You” enough to the many, many Brooklynites who we know have kept an eye out for him, reached out with possible sightings, and sent love & care. This is a photo I only recently found. I wish it could’ve been on the flier. Alas, better late than never, I guess. Be well, everyone! Please follow & share the social pages if you’re so inclined. GENEROUS REWARD. Photograph required to proceed (to weed out scammers). Thanks so much! Microchip # 646-450-6947 FB: IG:

Message from Owner

Baby Niblet is blind in one eye. He’s easily frightened & may have been run away from our building by an outdoor cat. We pray he’s still on the block. Please check cellars, sheds, grges, even attics, and shine a flashlight in case he’s being quiet. He’s normally very chatty, with nice long meows, but if he’s hiding he won’t be making noise. We are so worried. Thanks for reading 🙏

shared and hoping and per advice from a trapper to be done at your own discretion (as not everyone agrees with this) put out the uncleaned litter box outside (THIS SHOULD BE A LAST RESORT as this can draw in strays) along with a piece of your clothing they say it helps them find their home, also notify your local precinct and put up many flyers and check under stoops and bushes and garages and if possible and at night when it is quiet constantly call her/his name - this is how I found my cat under a car - hopefully some of this helps
