I have some suggestions that may aid in your search to find your furbaby. First, if the pet is an inside cat, put their used litter box outside (in a spot that other cats wouldn't be as tempted to use it), as they can smell it from far away. Second, walk around your house early in the morning or late in the evening while it's quiet & dark, calling their name as they may be hiding close by, but frightened, and will be more likely to come when you call. Third, walk around your neighborhood at different times of the day, with a bag of their food or treats while calling their name. Put some of the food in one of your hands & blow on the food so that its scent is taken into the air for your cat to be able to smell it. Fourth, check with neighbors for several blocks around to see if anyone has seen them or may have picked them up. And ask if they may have seen or heard of someone having acquired a new cat. Fifth, check under cars, crawl spaces under houses, empty sheds, ditches, drainage pipes, on top of houses, in trees...places a cat can get to or into and may not be able to get off or out of without help. Sixth, regularly check with your local & surrounding animal control shelter & rescue shelters. Seventh, check to see if your local or surrounding newspapers still does "Lost/Found" ads. And my final suggestion is to put out the cat's bedding &/or some family members' worn clothing or bedding, so your furbaby may pick up their scents. I pray that your feline furbaby is quickly & safely returned.

I'm sharing a few ways others & my family have found successfully helped our furbabies make it home safely. We do not get any kind of pay or discounts for getting someone to use their method. We are just animal lovers that understand your distraught situation; and wish to see you reunited with your furbaby family member.
