Post on Nextdoor, and check Virginia Beach Animal Control in person. Strays with collars are held for ten days. Strays with no collars held for five days. I no owners come to claim, the animals are then put up for adoption. Also, all incoming strays are scanned for microchips. Doggie paws crossed you find your baby.
