Mellow is a friendly male cat, approximately 5–7 years old. He is a medium-to-large sized orange and white cat with a light orange (buff-colored) back and tail, and a white face, chest, belly, and legs. He has a pink nose, amber/golden eyes, long white whiskers, and large ears. Extremely friendly and people-oriented. Mellow is calm, gentle, and affectionate and will often approach people for attention. He is not aggressive. Because he is lost, he may be scared and hiding despite normally being very social.

Cats tend to return to the point of exit in the overnight hours. Be looking for him at these times. If possible leave the point of exit window or door cracked so he may re-enter if he returns.

They are usually closer than you think and scared/hiding (unless not fixed). It can be over a week before they venture out for food. Don’t rely on neighbors seeing your missing kitty posts. *Live traps work well but must be monitored often. Talk to all neighbors and physically check yourself all surrounding sheds, garages, under bushes and decks (5 house radius). Give your mail carrier a pic with phone # on it. Check and post on Nextdoor, PawBoost, PETFBI, and Petco Love Lost. If they come back, chip and clip if not already done. 🐱

Put wate and food outside but bring the food inside at night otherwise it attracts wildlife.
