Tootsie Pumpkinjuice Hey!! She would fly short distances. She was in the process of been weaned off so strawberries and blue berries are her fav. She would respond to her name if called in a high pitched voice. No she has not been spotted yet as far as I know and I dont know how far she may have gotten.

That is about one street over from me. I will absolutely keep my eye out. Can you give any other details? Favorite noises? Favorite treats? Is she a good flyer? Would she likely have gotten far? Will she respond if called? Has she been spotted anywhere since then? I have feather kids of my own. 💔 If you have not already, you should put her cage outside somewhere she can see it with food and water. She might recognize it. You might also want to contact For Pets Sake in Decatur and see if anyone brought her in. They are an avian specialized vet.

Posted on Lost and Found birds of the US. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BY9vtMH73/?mibextid=wwXIfr We are so sorry to hear your bird is missing. Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*
