Please take to a vet to get scanned for a microchip (they do it for free)! Also please post on Indylostpetalert, Pawboost, Ring Neighbors app, & Facebook & put up signs in your area. Please ask for proof of ownership! If you get a text saying it is their pet & they ask you to verify with a link, it is a scam!! Sadly so many scammers! Please don’t open the link!! Thanks for keeping this fur baby safe!❤️

Cats usually do not wander far from home. The best time to look for them is at night and in the early morning take a can of wet cat food with you. Look under bushes, shrubs, porches. Look in sheds and garages or anywhere that a cat can hide under or behind. Let all your neighbors know, and Neighbors and surrounding neighborhoods. Ask them if you can look on their property behind bushes, shrubs under porches, and in sheds and garages. Hang flyers within a 3 to 5 mile radius of where you lost your cat. Place some in Ziploc baggies to protect them If you found a dog/cat take it to any veterinary clinic to have it scanned for a microchip. If you found or lost a dog/cat Hang flyers within a 3 to 5 mile radius of where you lost/found the dog/cat. Place them in Ziploc baggies to protect them from the weather. Let all your neighbors in your neighborhood and neighbors in surrounding neighborhoods know that you lost your dog/cat. If you found a dog/cat, do the same. Someone might recognize the dog/cat. If you found a dog/cat notify all animal shelters, animal control, and Humane Societies in your area. If you lost a dog/cat physically go to these places at least every other day to look for your pet. Notifying anim

Please make a found report on IndyLostPetAlert.com Also, please post to the NextDoor app and Neighbors RING app You can take the pet to any local vet/24 hr animal hospital, to have scanned for a microchip at no cost. Please require *multiple* photos as proof of ownership & vet records if claimed, to ensure the pet goes home to their legal owners. Please offer food & water if possible. We never know how long they have been out. Thank you for helping to keep them safe 🐾 Indy Pets: lost & found https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1A7636jza2/?mibextid=wwXIfr
