I found this dog wandering by the beach this morning and he jumped in my car. Animal control refuses to pick him up since I have him contained on my porch. I cannot keep him as I have two other dogs but he is very sweet

I took him to the vet and unfortunately no microchip😕 he is safe at my house until I can find a shelter with space so any recommendations are appreciated as I’ve only lived here for two weeks🥲 he introduced to my two dogs friendly but I can’t keep three, and I have space to separate them for now not knowing about his shots or health.

AC is SUPPOSED to pick up loose / stray dogs. You're doing their job for them; you've safely contained the dog for them to easily pick up! Call back 850-595-0097, option 2 for dispatch and ask to be put in the queue for pick up.
