WHEN YOU “FIND” A PET: Thank you for helping the pet. Very kind of you to do so. If you are unable to house the animal for a short while until the Owner is located, call one of these Animal Protection Services: You will be transferred if the call belongs to another area: 1. Clark County 702-455-7710 2. City of Las Vegas 702-229-6444 then #2 (They often are unable to answer their phone. Ask the dispatcher to take your message and forward it to them.) 3. North Las Vegas (702) 633-9111 NOTIFY The Animal Foundation that you have the pet in case the Owner contacts them. Located: 655 N Mojave Road, Las Vegas The Animal Foundation is the central clearing house for lost and found pets. The Animal Foundation is the facility to which the Owner first will be directed to search for their pet. The Pet Owner has 72 hours to collect their pet at The Animal Foundation before the pet will be placed for adoption. Please also, post on Pawboost.com. FREE. Just close out when you come to the “Pay page”. Your post will still go up. Very important: Pawboost offers that you can print Flyers to post around your area. Check your posts often to see that they have not been removed. You also can hand print "lost" flyers around your area. Check often to see that the flyers have not been removed. Please ask for proof. I.e., photos, vet bills, when someone claims the pet. Please do not hand the dog over without that proof.

Please take him to any Vet, Petco, Petsmart for chip scan, it’s free and no appointment needed. Go door to door but always ask for proof of ownership., vet paperwork, pictures. Scroll check all Lost dog posts on Pawboost at least day back before you found him trough now and keep checking daily. Some owners end up posting them later because not everyone knows about this sites. Post on Nextdoor and Ring as well. Please if you can keep him firtill owner found. Animal Foundation euthanize. They only give 72 hrs for owner pickup after that going to adoption list and if not adopted in time they euthanize to open a space for another dog because they are always overcrowded. Regardless of age it happens all the time. Also for every new dog that comes there other will be put down to open a space. I’m sure he didn’t come from far, he is a puppy still. If you can get him space in some area, garage or whatever. Thank yoj for your help and posting 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️

Thank you! We are not able to hold him for long. We have a dog who insists on being an only child.
