Place item with familiar smells outside by the front and back doors, your clothes blankets, beds, towels the humans in the house used to dry off after showers, replace with freshly used clothes and towels every 12 hours or so)that they will recognize outside, it will draw them back to the house.
Look at night with a flashlight, if they are scared and hiding, they may not respond but the flashlight will illuminate their eyes and you can spot them from a distance.
Look in and under any thing that they could hide, they can get under and in some very small spaces.
check in every cabinet in the house.
Check your garage and neighbors garage if you are able or have one

If microchipped call the microchip company and report them as lost/missing. Make sure your contact information is current.
*IMPORTANT *
*Plaster your neighborhood with flyers! Check them daily and put them back up if they have been removed by people or weather the more the better.
Some people don't use social media, Flyers are very effective.
Double check everywhere over and over inside and out.
garage's (neighbor's as well if possible)
Recently a lost cat was found in house after 4 days... behind the dishwasher. Here are some tips to find her: http://catsinthebag.org/
Opening a can of food or shaking a bag of treats outside your home at night, and searching for her with a flashlight will help. She is probably hiding somewhere very close to your home. If she is microchipped, make sure the info is up to date. Call local vets/shelters to see if anyone has brought in a cat matching her description. Talk to neighbors too. Also leave your garage door open for her during the night. I hope she comes home soon!!!
