Willow is so pretty❤️ I know you both must be so worried and scared! Praying for a quick and safe return of your beautiful girl.
If you haven’t already, my suggestion would be to post on the Next Door app for additional visibility, especially in neighborhood/complex and local area. Also, please post visible signs in your neighborhood/complex for those who don’t have access to these other platforms, and to grab attention of foot traffic of those walking their pets.
Please visit Animal Control in person and give them Willow’s information and picture, along with your information -and report to any local vet clinics in case someone finds her and brings her in to be scanned for microchip.
She is most likely scared and hiding nearby, so hopefully you can leave out food (something smelly like sardines and mackerel, along with her regular food by itself) and something familiar to her, especially with your scent, so it attracts her back.
The other suggestion would be to get a Ring or Blink camera that sends notifications to your phone. Ms Willow might be coming out/back at night and hiding during the day and the cameras can not only send you notifications, but you can also establish possible patterns in when she’s returning/going.
Hang in there. Don’t give up! Keep sharing, including of Facebook Lost/Found Groups! Here are some additional Lost & Found groups for VA - and I am sure there are more searchable groups for Northern VA, as well🐈❤️🙏
