Message from Owner

This is my sweet boy: Chunky! He got this name because ever since he was born he was rounder and chunkier than his siblings. He is the literal sweetest boy, he always greets me home with a motor of purrs, all he ever wants is to be cuddled and fed snacks. He is my literal heart and I do not know what to do without him. I fear his survival instincts are not really great, he has been spoiled rotten. He also has a special diet as well for his asthma. He has been there for me through thick and thin, he is my everything. His brother and sister also miss him so dearly, so much that his brother is not nearly as affectionate as the others but he has been so clingy this week without him. We miss Chunky so much, please help me get him back home. I have more pictures and videos to share if you think you have spotted him.

Tips: Please check nearby storm drains and sewer pipes. Vehicle engines and tire wells. Attics, closets, and bats. Garages and sheds. Bushes and trees. Under buildings and porches. Search outside at dawn and dusk when it's quiet. Using a flashlight may help. Set outside your old clothes so your cat may detect a familiar scent. Good luck.

Sorry to hear your kitty is missing. Your cat is nearby probably on your property scared and hiding. Put out worn clothing of the cat’s favourite human. Clothing has to be worn so that kitty can pick up on the scent. Also include cat bed or a blanket anything with the cat’s scent outside. Leave a window or the garage door slightly open so that kitty can find its way back inside the house. Be sure to secure other pets first. Go out at Dawn and Dusk especially with a flashlight and check underneath bushes, trees, cars, desks, patio furniture, sheds etc Let your neighbours know your cat is missing and ask for their permission to search their properties. Neighbours will not thoroughly search their properties or know where to look. Shake a bag of your cat’s favourite treats or food calling kitty’s name calmly. Look at every nook and cranny. Create flyers and hand out to your neighbours as well as post flyers in the neighbourhood and surrounding areas. If you can offer a reward it will encourage others to look for your kitty. Do don’t leave her litter box outside it will attract predators that will scare the cat away. If your cat is microchipped call the company and report the cat missing. Make sure your contact information is up to date. Report your cat missing to your local SPCA or Human Society. Go in person to your local SPCA /Humane Society and check out the kitties that were recently brought in. Follow the tips. Don’t waste any time starting your search. Start search as quickly as possible. Don’t give up hope. Just keep going out looking for your cat. Recheck your property and your neighbours and surrounding areas as many times necessary. Good luck.

So sorry to hear that your cat is missing, here are some things that might help in your search. Put out things smell like your cat, like their toys, bed, definitely their favorite food and water. And things that smell like you such as a shirt or blanket. Double check every place in your house, crawlspaces, sheds, and garages, and in the bushes around your house. Ask neighbors to do the same. Cats will hide in the darndest places. Get flyers up in the area and make sure your neighbors are all aware to be on the lookout. Post on PawBoost and all the Lost Pet sites for where you live, and those will get shared. Constantly check with all of the animal shelters and they're posting a lot their intakes on Facebook. Also check with vets in the area. You can set out a humane trap and see if you can catch your kitty that way. If your cat is micro chipped, which I hope it is, check with the microchip company in case somebody finds your cat . If you have Ring or other security cameras outside, check those, and ask neighbors if they can check theirs as well. And if you've heard about coyotes in the area, please don't continue to let them outside. Please bring them inside and keep them inside to keep them safe going forward.

Please place his bedding outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home enterence . Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Best of luck finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️
