It’s likely the hasn’t gone very far - within a 5 house radius. Leave his litter box outside (they’re drawn to their own scent) and go walking around the area late at night (calling him). You may hear him meow. It’s extremely important to do this at night, cos you’ll be able to hear him. This is how we found my brother’s cat last week.
