Ash Mitch-McCray seen 1 that had a collar and tags come to find out the original finder put her dogs old collar on and forgot to remove the tags and the dog took off from her. So it was wearing a collar and tags that belonged to someone else.

Melissa Melt yes!! My brother called the shelter asking about his dog and what color collar he had on and they told him they didnt have a dog wearing that color collar, we went and looked and someone had switched his collar.

Andrea Johnson dont rely on her collar as identifying marker as they can fall off or be taken off. Ive find dogs that went missing less then a day from their owner without a collar and turn up with one or the other way around.

Check with all your local and surrounding area shelters and vets and put up flyers. Also check on craigs list under pets found and pets for sale. Also check on all the lost and found sites and on Nextdoor. Post on your local and County lost and found sites. Report your pup to the shelter and always go look in person. Praying for your pups safe return
