Message from Owner

Callie is an indoor/outdoor cat. When the winter storm hit, she got brought inside. I had to keep her inside for a few days she wasnt very happy about it but it was too cold for her to be outside. One day she slipped out the door as my fiance left for work and I couldn't catch her to bring her back in. She sometimes goes between mine and my neighbors hse but neither have seen her. I've sat food out and went outside with a bag of food shaking it while calling her name multiple times and her sat litter box outback and have had no luck. My daughter is very upset as I, as we have had her since she was a kitten. My dog even searches for her when he goes out to the bathroom, they are a few weeks apart and grew up together. We just moved here in August so im not sure she knows the area to well. She's friendly but also cautious about strangers and very vocal. Please help us bring my fur baby up, it's hard to even sleep at night not knowing if she's okay or not. It's too cold for her to be outside right now.

Search at night with a flashlight (eyes will glow) up in trees and inside and under things on your property and up to three or four houses away. Cats normally stay pretty close to home. You can put something with the smell of the cat, or the scent of home, out on the porch. Put up missing cat posters, check with your neighbors, post on all local social media groups, and check with animal control every week. Leave your garage door up enough to allow the cat entry. You can also try searching early morning, before dawn, calling his/her name and carrying and open can of tuna or cat food. Hunger sometimes lures them out of hiding. Don't forget to check places like crawl spaces, garages, and sheds.

Please check nearby storm drains and sewer pipes, vehicle engines and tire wells, plus attics and bats, garages and sheds, bushes and trees, and under buildings and porches. Good luck.
