Message from Owner

I've had Sandy for 12 years after I rescued her from Cat Haven at 16. She's approximately 13 or 14 and starting to get a bit deaf. If a Taby has brought you a rat, that's her. She loves brining us gigantic rats. Please help me find her and bring her . Thank you

I’ve also attached a phone šŸ“ž list of some vet clinics & vet hospitals if you want to phone them to check if your cat has been taken in there by someone for treatment. Leave your contact details with them, your cat’s photo(s) (preferably recent), their description, breed & when & where they went missing etc. - When searching around your neighbourhood, remember to check under bushes & in storm water drains for your lost cat. ***Important **** if your cat is microchipped: make sure your contact details are up to date šŸ“† on your cat’s microchip. You can do this on the ā€˜Pet Address’ website. Please see the below link: https://www.petaddress.com.au/ •••If your cat is not microchipped, be aware that most council pounds only hold cats 🐈 for 3 days before they will have them adopted out to a new owner therefore it’s very important to be proactive & contact your local council(s) pounds ASAP to let them know your cat is lost. Here’s the Cat Haven’s ā€˜Lost & Found’ website page link: https://www.cathaven.com.au/pages/lost-and-found The Animal Protection Society of WA’s link: https://apswa.asn.au/

I’ve attached a contact phone ā˜Žļø list of LGA Councils’ Rangers in the Perth metro & surrounding areas if you need to contact them about your lost cat. 🐱 - I recommend that you also post on the below Facebook groups: 1. ā€˜Pets of Perth - Lost & Found’ 2. ā€˜Lost and found pets in Perth’ 3. ā€˜Perth, Western Australia - Lost Dogs, Cats & Pets - PawBoost’ 4. ā€˜Cats of Perth lost and found’ 5. ā€˜Western Australian Lost Pets Register - WALPR’. - It might be a good idea for you to keep a written list of which Facebook groups that you post on about your lost cat 🐈 to help keep track of any potential leads or helpful advice. - Ask neighbours if they are able to check their CCTV šŸŽ„ for your lost cat. šŸˆā€ā¬›

I hope you find your dear cat Sandy šŸˆā€ā¬› soon. šŸ™ Please see attached my tip sheet on how to try & find a lost cat. -Is Sandy microchipped? - Did you actually see her leave your house, or is it possible she could be inside a closed cupboard or behind a washing machine or under furniture etc. ? - Check under bushes & in storm water drains. - Between 2:00AM & 4:00AM is the best time to find a cat. Take a torch šŸ”¦ with you. - Remember to put fresh water šŸ’¦ bowls outside in the shade every day for your cat.
