Please put Potter on nextdoor.com if you haven't already and walk up and down your area and look for homes that have a ring doorbell or a security system and ask them to check their video from the day that Potter went missing I'm assuming because you don't say in your post that Potter is an inside cat only and if it's afraid of other dogs and people it's mostly likely that Potter is closer than you think but just scared to come out of wherever he's hiding
