Light brown pit/Shepard mixes with a small amount of white on her chest. CHIPPED. NO COLLAR. Bright colored eyes. APPROACH CAREFULLY WITHOUT OTHER ANIMALS! NERVOUS. Territorial, possibly animal aggressive outside of that.

Make it smell like home outside....hang a blanket from your bed or worn clothing with your scent, outside, but out of the weather, dog bed, food, etc. Make a LOST DOG sign and put in front of your home ASAP. (Cardboard and magic marker works in a pinch, though the neon- colored poster board catches more eyes.) Post as many flyers in the area as you can and give one to your mail carrier. Put in page protectors with the bottom taped shut to keep any rain from destroying them. Call microchip company to make sure your contact info is correct if chipped. Notify ALL surrounding shelters. Physically visit shelters at least twice a week and don't forget to check your other messages often. Not everyone will or can comment on this post.
