HOW TO LURE YOUR CAT HOME Quick action in the first days of your kitty going missing brings the greatest chance of success, as cats don’t wander far in the first couple of days. Crack your garage door open or leave a front/back window, which is normally closed, open. Most cats wander home between 1 am and 5 am. Appeal to their sense of smell. All housing complexes have a network of stormwater drainage systems—a maze for any kitty. Lift a manhole and call kitty from ONLY one point of the drainage system, closest to your home.
