You might try going out after 10-11 pm (streets quiet) and call out your cat's name softly or playfully, while shaking his/her treat bag and favorite noisy toy (bell, tweeting etc). Also, leave out some bedding and/or other favorite things outside your house. I think s/he is nearby, scared and perhaps injured and your voice may reorient him/her back to you. Keep trying every night and walk your alleys, and up and down a few blocks surrounding your area, in all directions.
