DESCRIPTION

Large (12 lb) Black w/white Manx male (neutered), age 4yrs. The photo is from 2012. He is VERY Friendly, loves the outdoors, has a large compact body with long. strong back legs, typical of the Manx. He has 2 brothers, back home. The rumpy Riser Manx Is Distinct. Shortcut might have been 'Intentionally' taken, having had his collar removed, and another collar put on, but then all tags removed. He's current on shots, and has records. A distinguishing feature is a white stripe on his rear right leg. At best, if taken, due to his pedigree & warm disposition, can i be contacted to know he's happy and okay, at least. Please watch for anyone trying to sell this Manx. The Manx brothers have been raised here since 5 weeks of age.

Good News & Bad News. I got a call today, from a neighbor (unknown to me), on another dead end street. Jan 18th, he, and his son reported seeing a B&W Manx. The gentleman caller thought 'Shortcuts' tail had been docked. (Mutilation). The last person on the road feed about a dozen feral cats. We spoke, and she said 'Shortcut', with collar & Tag was there to eat food left out, but he'd become excessively domineering, and chased or bullied her cats-to the point where they had to be all brought inside. 12 cats is A LOT insides ones house. She's 'shoo-ed' him away, thinking he'd go back home. We hiked and hiked, but he won't come. She has indicated he acts feral (wild), and shown COMPLETE Personality changes, since missing on Jan 1st {the past few months, he's been disappearing for ~72 hr stretches}. The woman feeding him is pleading w/ me to get him away from her cats. She initially thought he was/acted like a feral Tomcat (he's fixed). I'm stunned. There's a MEAN feral Tom where i live too, and he DOES beat up other cats. Is this behavioral change because he's disoriented, (he can hear us call across 2 valleys, we tested that)-or because he has a brain tumor? I'm supposed to try and catch him tomorrow, but her description of his behavior is a 180 degree turn...from friendly & sociable, to wild, Over-domineering, a bully, unwilling to respond to his name- calling for hours- in a 3 week period. My friend thinks he might have a brain tumor...and at home, he was as gentle and sweet as could be. Wish me luck in trying to catch him. MANY THANKS TO PAWBOOST-Shortcut was located after i distributed (in plastic)-Posters by Pawboost, on my street and the cross streets. That's what did it. So, He's been seen, but not yet caught. Next, the Vet, or feline psychologist. thanks all.
