Found/Stray Cat in Columbus, OH 43068

Found cat July 4, 2026 ~1pm near Continental Drive/Chatsworth Way intersection in Reynoldsburg (Independence Village). I came out to my garage (door was cracked open) and this cat was sitting in here staring at me. Seemed spooked and kinda of frozen, but with some coaxing came right over to me meowing and head butting my hand persistently for more pets. Wearing blue collar with a bell. (Second cat wearing a blue collar with a bell to come to my hse this week but the first one wouldn’t let me close enough to scan for a chip sadly). I’ve scanned the cat, it does NOT have a chip unfortunately. Unsure if male or female, too much fluff back there to be able to tell but can try checking later on. VERY friendly and fur is so soft, and appears clean. It let me pick it up and put on my lap and just stayed there asking for more pets. I have this cat contained in my garage while trying to find owners. I CANNOT keep this cat for more than tonight, but will bring inside to my bathroom tonight so it’s not loose/scared during fireworks tonight. Very clean and was a little jumpy, making me think it's an inside cat/someone's missing pet. Medium to long fur, exceptionally fluffy tail. Please message me if you recognize the cat or see any other posts that point to someone's missing cat that looks like this one! Will ask for proof of ownership and more details about the collar before just giving to anybody.
