Please use keywords in your post. That way if rescue volunteers are looking for an owner your post will come up. Found color of dog Size of dog Breed of dog Male or female Unique spots on the dog City and state Major intersection. Your location should be first in your post!! The goal isn't to reach everyone in Arizona it's to reach the people in your immediate vicinity. Then bullet point format with details on the pet so people can quickly scan. Use lots of keywords at the bottom of your post. Put your phone number so people can quickly contact you if they see your pet Crop your photos: you want your dog as big as possible. Nice clear picture of the pet from the front And a second one from the side to show identifying markings. You have two seconds to grab people's attention you want to make it count. 0Cut the Walls furniture other dogs people the yard etc out of the photo. Just the pet.

Cats are usually less than 10 houses from home. If it's an indoor cat they will usually go over the fence and hide somewhere and often do not come out even when you call them. It's very important if you live in a coyote zone that you get over to your neighbors immediately. Knock on the door ask them to check their backyard while you stand there and wait! Rewards inspire people to pay more attention I would put $20 reward phone number and a big picture of your cat on a flyer absolutely nothing else not lost cat nothing. And tape it on all the garage doors on your street and the one behind you. Do not leave the litter box outside if you live in a coyote zone it draws coyotes.

🐾 Here are a few things to try if you've found a lost pet in Arizona. The NEIGHBORS by Ring app is amazing! 🎉 It has an impressive success rate, helping reunite about 70% of lost pets with their owners—often within hours. Ring and NEIGHBORS by Ring are two different apps, and you do NOT need a Ring device to use NEIGHBORS. It only takes about 5 minutes to download the app and create a post, making it one of the fastest and most effective ways to help reunite a lost pet with its family.🎉 To quickly reach many people within a three mile radius: ▪️ Post the found pet on NEIGHBORS by Ring. ▪️ Also post on Nextdoor ▪️ Make simple flyers using a piece of paper and a Sharpie. Packing tape works great for hanging them up. ▪️ Place 4–8 flyers at the major intersections closest to where the pet was found. ▪️ Put a box in your front yard and write FOUND DOG or FOUND CAT in big letters so if the owners are driving the neighborhood, hopefully they will see it.🥰 ▪️ Your flyers don't have to be fancy. Just write: FOUND DOG/CAT BREED SIZE COLOR YOUR PHONE NUMBER THAT'S IT! ▪️ Take the pet to any veterinary clinic and have them scanned for a microchip. It's free. ▪️ Don't assume the pet was abandoned. Their family may be desperately searching for them. ❤️ Every post, flyer, and microchip scan increases the chances of a happy reunion. 🐾 13-Year Rescue Advocate
