Misty Blu there are a lot of lost pets to comb through. It’s much easier to post that and if it is in fact a missing pet, the owner might see it. And yes, dogs are stolen everyday.

I carry dog food and bottled water in my car for homeless pets.

Angelina Hernandez yes! This happened to my moms ex. They stole his female Pitt, and a week later a woman who was panhandling on Wyoming and the freeway, had her. Cops were called, animal control came out and the dog was given back. Unfortunately the dog was yet again stolen a few weeks later, and we never saw her again. Some of these people actually take great care of their dogs, and others use them as incentive to get more $$$ you can always tell the difference.

why don't you go search paw boost and abq lost pets for a match instead of automatically "thinking you saw it" on one of these sights just because a homeless person has it
