Description

Re-Post - STILL MISSING AS OF Dec 17, 2025: "I am hoping for a Christmas miracle! Please share and help me bring Little Gray. It has been over a month, and he seems to have just vanished. If you see him and are unable to contain him, PLEASE call Animal Control dispatch. Then, message me. If you have him, please return him – no questions asked. I see so many reunited posts, I am desperate for it to be my turn." Lost solid gray, long hair indoor cat in Farrcroft at Ridley Manor on Lake Smith, Virginia Beach, 23455, off Wesleyan Drive. He has been spotted several times in Belmeade, the neighborhood next door, also in Ridgley Manor as well as Cypress Point. His name is Little Gray and he is part Maine Coon and part Turkish Angora. He weighs 15lbs, is very smart, and extremely vocal. He is neutered and prone to anxiety, especially car rides, and will pant like a dog. He has on a purple flea collar and is microchipped. He darted out the door on 11/14 and has never been gone like this before. Please help me find him. I am devastated.

Leslie Hamilton No. Of course, someone could have picked him up. I am not sure the coloring is right on your picture. Thank you for trying. I really appreciate it.

Put an article of clothing with your scent on it on your porch close to where he got out. Cats have a wonderful sense of smell and will come to those items. Leave a window cracked nearby so that you can hear him. Cats usually don’t go more than a few houses in any direction, so post pictures around the neighborhood and on doors. Ask neighbors to keep an eye out and to check garages and sheds. Cats hide, usually fairly close by. They tend to come out after dark, so look for him then. Call and rattle a treat can if he likes those. If you put food out, stay close by, because it will also attract other animals that might scare him away. Don't leave it out very long. Also, go in person to shelters and vets' offices, and leave a picture and phone number there. I hope you find him!

Gwen Gilliam Thank you. Yes to all, including neutered. I think on another site it has him as intact but he is most definitely neutered!

Seeing this later. I guess you have by now put out the litter box and a piece of your clothing. Can of smelly food. Hope and pray your kitty comes home. They usually don’t travel far. Is kitty spayed or neutered?
