Description

He's the dearest little guy, a five-year-old terrier. His sister Eve misses him terribly. They've been together since birth. Help us find our sweet little guy. Thanks!

Message from Owner

Rudy is microchipped, but he pulled out of his collar and ran away from the dog sitter. We flew immediately but there was no sign of him. Last seen he was heading West on Fountain -- no doubt trying to get back to our apmt! Please help us find him and bring him . Thanks, Marc and Elaine Zicree

I know you said he was maybe trying to get home, can you give us an idea cross street wise where that is? And approximate weight.

Put your dirty clothes outside your door. Dogs have a keen sense of smell so perhaps this will help... I hope your baby comes home!!!

Report him missing to the microchip company/registry right away. Post on Nextdoor and the Neighbors app to reach the largest number of your closest neighbors. Share on Lostmydoggie.com and Petharbor.com for more free widespread publicity. Check back at all of these sites daily. Post fliers all around your neighborhood, and take some to veterinary hospitals and shelters; check back often. Check their websites, too. Leave something of yours or his outside - a piece of unwashed clothing or a towel or blanket, a doggie bed or favorite toy - so he can detect the scent of home. Best of luck.

Great your pup is microchiped and you have alerted the company and ensured your contact info is accurate. You also need to blanket the area with flyers....1-2 mile radius at a minimum as dogs can run far and visibility is key. Hand out flyers to everyone you see, especially postal carriers, UPS and Amazon drivers as they are in the area daily. Alert all the local shelters and post a flyer there too. Also post on Nextdoor and with local rescues. Hoping you find your pup safe and sound. Good luck!
