‼️ found dog ‼️ {4/18} 👇🏼 - I was driving down Classen around 6:30 pm last night and I saw this pup jogging down the road towards Wilshire. I was able to get in my car on 71st. I knew it was supposed to storm and I couldn’t just leave. - Took to VEG to check for a chip, NO CHIP was found. Has been reported as found to a few vets and will go to shelter to report as found as well when I get the chance. I also have been driving up and down and all around classen to see if anyone is looking. - If you are or know the owner please comment below!! I would like to have some sort of proof of ownership. Including knowing the gender. I need to make sure it is the right people. I think this pup has to be missed. - As of now I will be holding onto pup til we can find owners. I refuse to let something bad happen to this dog.

Thank you for being their angel! 😇 Take and leave what applies: Please go to a vet and get them checked for a chip, it’s free. Don’t assume, this/dog could have been found, stolen, abused, then dumped. Post your on all the lost and found pages(not just this one) and on Nextdoor. Notify shelter you have this babe so they can know in case someone comes in looking for it. You can also tell them you can foster(if you can). Make whoever comes forward prove with pictures and/or vet records this at this is their dog. You CANNOT rehome a cat/dog you just found, please look up the laws in your area, but there are certain procedures and a certain amount of time(typically 3-7days) you have to hold a dog before you can legally rehome it. If you end up having to rehome them, please get and verify vet and personal references, charge a rehoming fee, and get them fixed if they aren’t already to avoid contributing to our pet overpopulation problem. Call 211 for free and reduced spay/neuter. Some lower cost options I know of off the top of my head are: SafeHaven($45-60) and GetFixedOK in Tuttle. Please try to do everything in your power keep them out of the shelters because they sometimes euthanizing daily due to lack of space. 😢 Good luck. Most rescues are full but some can still help, especially if you can foster: https://www.dogloversdigest.com/oklahoma-rescue-shelters-and-organizations// https://www.petfinder.com/animal-shelters-and-rescues/search/?location=Oklahoma&shelter_Ppr
