Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Hang worn clothes and/or your pillow case in a tree or on top of shrubs to create a scent trail. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

Post some ads up around the area where you lost your cat rewards always helps go out walking the neighborhood knocking and doors Ask your local neighbors to check their garages sheds under ducks under vehicles behind bushes go out so several times during the day and several times very late at night with a flashlight shaking a treat bag calling for your cat. They usually are found within 5 to 10 houses from home. They usually come home between the hours of 12 AM and 7 AM when it’s very quiet outside keep your eyes and ears open. Keep a garage door open or a window door open. Sometimes I come back home and try to get back into the house. Prayers check with local veterinarians, Jacquelyn, local animal shelter and Humane Society. You must let them know you lost your cat just in case somebody finds it and turns it into them. I will check with them daily post some ads on local Lost and Found pet sites. You can Google five or six in your area such as neighbors next-door, and for the love of Louie and paws Boost and you can also try putting your cats, bad blanket, toys, and some of your dirty clothing from inside the house. Do not wash these items such as T-shirts, sweaters, blankets sheets, put these items out on your porch. Keep your eyes open animals have a great sense of smell change outside items every couple of days this works great for cats and dogs. This work for me and my cats several times over the years and five months ago when my cat got out of the house if it rains, change outside items daily do not wash the items you put out on your porch. Keep your eyes and ears open all through the day all through the night especially late at night and early in the morning. Have your neighbors keep their eyes out prayers
