Your kitty may still be around. If you can safely leave a slider, door or window cracked open, sometimes cats will return on their own. Sometimes they will try to come back inside very late when it's dark and quiet when they feel it's safe to come out. Cats generally stay close by, so look under bushes, cars. Call your cat's name softly, listen for a meow, and look for eyes with a flashlight. Ask your neighbors to check their garages. Also post on Nextdoor. Post flyers. Check with the Humane Society. Also, some have returned when their litter box is placed outside. However, don't put out if you live in an area where there are coyotes.

Also post in Nextdoor. It goes out to your neighbors. Put some cat food in a plastic container and shake it. Preferably at night when its quiet. Call his name while you shake the container. Listen for a faint meow. Check garages.
