Mama Barbie is a rescue that was going to be fixed and adopted, but escaped through jalousies and screen....she is very timid around humans and docile, maybe 8 pounds. ORANGE TABBY. KINKED tail. She had a litter of kittens 3 months ago (1 Apr 2026, kittens alreday adopted out), so assume she will go into heat again soon (and possibly make her way to the "Ivy" where there are several ferals)...

Kendra Yanney Aloha, that is such an important point! Most people think that it's automatically done once they get an animal microchipped. Having been in the rescue field for over 20 years, I have seen so many owners have the best intentions and then NOT be able to find their furr-babies because of out-of-date records! So sad. THANK you for bringing that up! YES she is microchpped and registered. HOWEVER, she was slated to be fixed, but escaped prior.... this makes it very important we catch her as soon as possible. Thank you for sharing across East Oahu (near the Ivy center)
