Where in McKinleyville? Dogs flee during fireworks, cats hide. I had a cat go missing and it turned out I had closed a shed door days after July 4. The cat popped out 9 days after July 4. It never made a peep. She was alright amazingly enough . Must of had rodents to eat. So look in hiding places and ask neighbors
