Message from Finder

Last night this sweet girl wandered into our yard. We have tried walking the neighborhood twice looking for her owners. She smells like a fresh bath, has a beautiful coat, and is very well behaved. We brought her inside for the night in fears she would be get hit by a car. She is fantastic with kids and I know someone is missing her.

Annette Brown already posted on nextdoor. We have checked a 4 block radius from our house. We are going to check for a microchip at 1pm. Sadly she doesn't have any tags on her collar including a rabies tag so I'm not that hopeful she has a chip.

If able, try posting on the local Nextdoor app (if possible), lost .petcolove .org and watching craigslist. If you post to other groups, be sure to add the county, city and state to your posting since the posting may be shared nationally. Also, take flyers to shelters and vet offices with a photo and report the pet found. They have a board for both lost and found pets. Remember, not everyone is on Social Media. (IF able, try taking to a vet to check for a microchip too. Ask for proof of ownership by either vet records or a picture from the phone.)
