Lost Cat Tips: Please try these tips: ๐ŸšจImmediately Set the litter box outside your door (stir the litter box to release the scent out into the air faster). As well dirty fabric item/blankets, cat bed, with your homes scent outside your door, along with food/ water covered from weather: Cats can pick up these scents 1-2 miles from home. Also look under all nearby bushes sheds decks cars. Indoor cats donโ€™t typically roam too far from their homes!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿฑ Be sure to post as lost on IndyLostPetAlert. com, and the Next Door app & Neighbors RING app (Township/county social media group pages) Prayers for a safe return.

Please also notify your vet and vets nearby and in the surrounding area in case your pet is brought in for care. Notify any and all shelters and humane societies as well. I have heard itโ€™s helpful to check shelters daily as possible. Please know we are praying! ๐Ÿ–ค

Call and visit your shelters and pounds. Someone could have picked your baby up. Also they can note that your kitty is missing and if she is turned in they will call you. It also doesn't hurt to call them often just in case.

I'm so sorry about your kitty. Here are some tips that helped me find my little guy when he got out. My kitty got out in the middle of winter for 11 days. I put flyers out everywhere and some very nice friends of a friend of mine saw my flyers and said he was living under their outside stairs. Flyers work. Also I was told to go out at night when it's quiet and call your kitty calmly. They are scared when outside even if it's your voice they hear so shouting or calling loudly isn't recommended. Also using a flashlight while looking in garages and bushes helps. Cats eyes glow when a light beams on them. Shaking treat bags can help too. Don't do a litterbox that can attract dangerous animals that could hurt Kitty. You can do a piece of dirty laundry of yours that they can be attached too. One more thing also is to get a humane trap from a local shelter and put the smelliest food inside. Believe it or not KFC chicken has helped attract cats more than any food lol. Also cameras can help also to see if your baby comes around when you're not home. I wish you the best of luck and hope. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ€

Ask your local mailman if they've seen your kitty or if they can keep an eye out.
