This is awful! I am very sorry. Why would anyone take your baby out not on a leash with fireworks. Anyone reading this please keep your dogs on a leash when outside. Explain rules to people watching your pets

Cocoa has been found. We are out of town and the dog sitter let her out to potty. The fireworks startled her. She dug out and was hit by a car way up on Atlantic boulevard. We found her body this morning and buried her. Our family is heartbroken and she will be missed.
