Probably because people get tired of the dogs barking and scratching at the door. They need to keep away from these dogs! Also, it is easier for a dog this size to wiggle out of its colar.Read More
If you haven’t already, call police depts. in the area where the dog was found, any local shelters and vets with a description of the dog. Some PDs are very helpful about taking info on lost/found pets. Make up large, easily read flyers and post them in your neighborhood. Post a found ad on nextdoor.com. If you take the dog to any vet or shelter, they can scan for a microchip at no cost to you.Read More
