Message from Owner

Please help me find him he’s been gone for a while and I believe someone might have mistakes him for being homeless he’s was gaining lots of weight and than normal he’s an indoor/outdoor cat I had a collar and air tag on him but the air tag was turned off. I miss him dearly and have been looking everywhere for him. Please help me bring him back .

First put out a big bowl of water. Then, did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck! And please keep your kitty inside if you let it out!! Between coyotes, diseases, bad actors and cars, there are so many ways harm can come to them. Finally, if your kitty isn’t fixed, please spay/neuter!

Ask neighbors to check property, he may have gone in somewhere and got locked in accidentally. Check at dawn and dusk, they tend to hide and come out at those times. Check animal care centers on 110th between 1st and 2nd in Harlem. and make a lost pets report with them, check daily. They have other locations throughout the city, check all of them, but the Harlem one is the main one. Call local vets, shelters, precincts, in case someone found him and brought him in. Hang flyers. Google and search social media for local rescues, not all have a facility and use those outlets. Ask around if anyone feeds strays, he may show up looking for food. Search the found pet section of pawboost. Check Craigslist and other sites that may sell pets. Good luck.
