Jaspurr's Owner Says

🖤 JASPURR IS HOME 🖤 After nearly six weeks on the run, Jaspurr was spotted in a backyard over three miles from our hse. The kind neighbor who saw him went on PawBoost, immediately made a match, and called us. A few nights later, he was trapped by Two Tunnels Pet Recovery () and brought home. 😭 We are so grateful for our community’s help and support, especially Karen (who spotted Jaspurr at her hse in August) and Donna (who fed and looked out for Jaspurr outside until he was trapped). 🤍 This smart boy is on hse arrest and will be getting a bath, a checkup, and a lot of hugs and kisses. If anyone ever needs help locating a lost pet, we are more than happy to share our resources and knowledge. 💕

Thank you so much to everyone who has engaged and shared. No sign of Jaspurr this morning. We left out clothes and food and walked all over the yard last night and this morning. Left a message for animal control last night. We live near Middle River Road and South King Street, so if anyone happens to go walking in those areas, please let us know!

Jane Kotch Barucci we left a message for animal control and reported him lost with his microchip company. I’m so glad you got your kitty back!

Check in with Animal Control. YES, even for cats. This is how I found my cat. He had been badly hurt by a car and the microchip did not work to find me, so I'm so glad I called them to see if there had been any accidents. Sure enough. The officer was very kind.

Go out late at night or pre-dawn when it's quiet. Call out name of kitty softly if kitty eats kibbles bring a bag and shake it. Kitty is probably close by check under bushes and under pouches. Don't give up, it may take several tries.. Good luck!

If you can, sit outside just before sun comes up and quietly call him and wait. They are usually hiding nearby.
